The harvesting of Rabi crops has already started in the country. In view of this, the state governments have started registration and procurement of crops at MSP from farmers at their respective levels. In this sequence, the Rajasthan government has started the process of
registration for the purchase of wheat at the minimum support price. For this, arrangements have been made for online registration. Let us inform that the Rajasthan government had already announced the dates for the purchase of wheat on the support price in the state. Under this, procurement of wheat will be started in Kota division from March 15 and in the remaining districts from April 1, which will run till June 10. Naveen Jain, Government Secretary, Food and Civil Supplies Department, informed that an online portal has been developed by the state government for this work. Farmers of the state can register themselves through the online portal for selling wheat. Registration can be done on the portal by the farmer himself or through other means. The registration time has been fixed from 7 am to 7 pm. Farmers can register themselves by visiting the portal during this time. Farmers can also choose the center as per their wish while applying.
