We see him fighting for his life against a number of enemies, and there are even a few shots of him looking bloodied and injured. The tagline for the trailer is “Fight Like It’s Your Last,” and it’s hard not to think that this could be a literal warning for Geralt.
Of course, it’s also possible that Geralt will survive this season. The trailer could just be trying to build suspense, and we could end up seeing him come out of this alive. But the fact that Cavill has already announced that he’s leaving the show after this season does make it seem more likely that this is the end for Geralt.
If this is indeed the end for Geralt, then it’s going to be a sad day for fans of The Witcher. Cavill has been incredibly popular in the role, and he’s helped to make the show a huge success. It’s going to be hard to imagine The Witcher without him.
But whatever happens, I’m sure that the final episodes of The Witcher Season 3 will be epic. Cavill has said that he’s going out “in a blaze of glory,” and I’m sure that’s exactly what we’re going to get.
